Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the provider that operates the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those queries. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services may log an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review that data in aggregate to maintain the service and understand general use. Cookies or comparable tools can support essential analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use this limited information to operate the reference, diagnose issues, measure broad traffic, and improve pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links lead to Wichita County and Texas portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. Those destinations control their own data practices and policies. The same is true for sponsored results supplied by another company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Providers that host or support the reference may process the technical logs described above. Analytics or advertising partners can receive that automatic data. Information is otherwise disclosed only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Security Practices
The reference uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operating purposes described here. No user account, password, or visitor profile is maintained by this site.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor has sent information, and we will remove it.
Your Privacy Choices
Texas’s Data Privacy and Security Act, Business & Commerce Code Chapter 541, provides qualifying consumers rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing by covered private controllers. Because this reference keeps very little data, a request usually consists of checking the contact mailbox and applicable logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page to make a request. Chapter 541 does not apply to a government body and does not erase a public record held by Texas, Wichita County, or Wichita Falls; those issues belong with the custodian’s correction, suppression, or confidentiality process.
Policy Changes
Any revision will appear on this page. Continued use after a posted change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
